I was going to update
my blog at wordpress.com but could not login. It said "
408 Request Timeout ...". I had to contact their admin for it. Okay, I will do that later.
Then I wanted to access
my multiply.com account. What do you know? They were down for maintanance. Okay. I then started two concurrent sessions to this blog and AOL journals. I will post to whichever faster to respon. Lo and behold, this blog came up faster. So I posted an entry here.
In my other blog(s) I have complained about the reliability of blog services. I understand that they are (mostly) free services, but it does not mean that people do not depend on it. Maybe I am too demanding, but when you have to write ... you gotta write. Otherwise, the mood is not there, the idea is gone, and whose fault is it?
There is a beautiful example of this. I was part of modblog.com addicts. I posted regular at
my account there. Then it happened. The server(s) down for more than 2 weeks. The users had it. We all moved to
efx2.com. So, now you'll find blog addicts from modblog at their new addresses in efx2.com (which has served me better!). I post regularly at
budi.efx2.com.
We will see if this hickup(s) is happening to MSN.
